At Wedding First Dance NI, we are an award-winning dance school with the privilege of helping thousands of couples create a truly memorable first dance since opening in 2007. Your instructor, Kevin Conwell, is a highly experienced professional dance teacher who specialises in wedding first dances. He quickly understands each couple’s ability and creates a bespoke routine tailored to you and your chosen music. If you’re still deciding on a song, we’re also happy to guide you in selecting something that perfectly suits your style and vision.

Every routine is designed around you. Whether you’re looking for something simple and elegant or a more expressive and memorable performance, we ensure it feels natural, comfortable, and enjoyable to dance. We offer a wide range of styles, including classic ballroom dances such as the Waltz or Foxtrot, relaxed Latin-inspired routines, or more modern and creative options such as themed or mixed-style “mash-up” dances.

And if you’ve never danced before, there’s no need to worry. We specialise in working with complete beginners and will guide you step by step so you feel confident moving together with ease and style on your special day.

The Express Package

This package is ideal for those looking to learn a basic wedding first dance. This package will suit you if you haven’t got much time before your big day and want something basic and relaxed to match your chosen song and ability.

The Standard Package

This bespoke package will suit you if you want to add a bit more content to your first dance. This is ideal if you want to learn a few more moves to your chosen song and dance them in complete confidence with a chance to dance in style!

This is tailored if you have a little more time to learn the dance and have a refresher lesson towards the big day!

The Premium Package

If you want to WOW your guests with a more Choreographed First Dance, A Mashup Dance or a Themed Dance then this is the Package for you. Entertain your guests with an unforgettable experience and one that you will never forget!

I really recommend doing a first dance at youe wedding. It was really fun going to dance lessons and it's almost like learning a new communication style together. We got to work on something fun on the lead up to our wedding taking the stress off and reminding us it's a day to enjoy.
